Is a simple electronic signature legally valid?
The simple electronic signature is recognised across the European Union under the eIDAS regulation and is widely used for commercial service contracts between businesses. For documents where the law requires a special form (for example a qualified signature), consult a specialist. For everyday freelancer–client engagements, signing in the browser covers the real need: a clear, documented agreement with a timestamp.
Does my client need an account to sign?
No. Your client receives a secure link by email and signs straight from the browser, without installing anything or creating an account. Optionally, through the oCRM client portal, they get permanent access to all their signed documents.
Can I sign too, not just the client?
Yes — contracts can carry both parties' signatures, and the final PDF includes both, with the date of signing.
